NiT-Vu™ High-Performance Micro Guidewire
Have Visibility, Have Control

- The NiT-Vu is available in straight or angled tip to meet specific procedural and anatomical needs
- The NiT-Vu is available in 2 cm, 5 cm or 7 cm tip length, giving the clinician a variety of choices based on the case’s specific needs
- Available in 0.014” and 0.018”
- Available in 80 cm, 110 cm, 180 cm and 300 cm lengths
Features:
- Kink-resistant Ni-Ti alloy core wire assures smooth, kink-free navigation through tortuous vasculature and accurate wire control; allows for a 1:1 torque response at the distal tip
- Highly radiopaque tungsten coil tip for excellent visibility under fluoroscopy
- Wire’s inner core features a smooth, parabolic tip taper to facilitate efficient, atraumatic placement through tortuous anatomy
- Advanced formulation silicone coating technology produces lubricity between the wire surface and the vessel wall, providing smooth navigation
AQUALiner® Hydrophilic Ni-Ti Alloy Guidewire*
Next-Generation Hydrophilic Performance
The real test of effective hydrophilic performance is endurance, and if a guidewire’s lubricity diminishes over the course of a procedure the result can be time-consuming and costly. The AQUALiner guidewire with a hydrophilic coating from AngioDynamics is engineered to last as long as the procedure does, providing the hydrophilic longevity that minimally-invasive procedures demand.
AQUALiner also provides exceptional kink-resistance and a softer, smoothly tapered chemically engineered tip, which combine to assure efficient, atraumatic interventional procedures even in the most tortuous anatomy. Laboratory testing applied a constant load to coating surface while guidewire was moved up and down, with results demonstrating better adhesion endurance of AQUALiner’s coating vs. the leading competitor. With the additional a choice of straight or angled tip, AQUALiner provides the right configuration for any clinical need.
- AQUALiner’s advanced coating technology produces a “cushion” of moisture between the wire surface and either vessel walls or instrumentation, promoting smooth, frictionless navigation
- A Ni-Ti alloy core, plus the right blend of suppleness and rigidity, assure smooth, kink-free navigation through even the most tortuous vasculature
