Morpheus® CT PICC
The Image of Flexibility and Strength
The Morpheus CT PICC provides medical practitioners with increased flexibility to both administer medications and perform CT imaging using one PICC line. Avoiding the need for a second access site provides patient comfort, saves time and cuts costs.

The unique versatility of the Morpheus CT PICC also can be attributed to the quality of the shaft. Its strong, yet flexible, Durathane® material is made from an advanced composite that outperforms traditional silicone and polyurethane while offering the advantages of both. Its resistance to iodine and alcohol creates more ease in access site maintenance and patient care.
Unlike conventional PICC lines, our patent-pending shaft technology offers a graceful transition from increased stiffness at the proximal end to softer flexibility at the distal end. The proximal pushability allows the catheter to be easily inserted into the patient, whether you prefer the over-the-wire or the sheath dilator method. The distal pliability offers the patient greater comfort with minimized risk of vessel wall trauma and phlebitis.
Additionally, Morpheus CT PICCs can come in standard or Smart Taper™. Creating a smooth transition between the catheter and the hub, the Smart Taper reduces leakage around the insertion site with its 3 cm long taper. The taper starts at the hub with 5 French or 7 French outer diameters. and funnels down to the standard catheter size. Morpheus has a stiffer proximal shaft at the hub to aid with insertion and increase pushability.
