Soft-Vu 4 French High Flow

Advanced Engineering for Superior Performance

Using AngioDynamics’ patented technology, the Soft-Vu 4 French high-flow angiographic catheters provide an enhanced soft, Super-Radiopaque catheter tip in combination with a larger inner diameter to permit high flows and passage of a 0.038" guidewire during endovascular procedures.

Soft-Vu Omni Flush 4 French High Flow Features:
  • Super-Radiopaque tip means better visualization and more accurate placement.
  • Reforms and maintains shape – even under injection
pressure – with less catheter whipping, resulting in less vessel wall injury
  • Unique tip weld transitions smoothly and securely from stiff shaft to flexible tip
  • Less contrast reflux than other flush catheters, thus resulting in lower total
    contrast dose
  • The top of the Omni flush shape to the tip end measures approximately 15 mm
  • Specialized Catheter Options Available

Omni™ Flush Angiographic Catheter

The innovative Soft-Vu Omni Flush angiographic catheter is designed as a single catheter to perform flush aortography, bilateral “run off” studies of the lower extremities and to cross the aortic bifurcation with ease for contralateral diagnostics in interventional procedures.

Features:
  • Unique tip weld transitions smoothly and securely from stiff shaft to flexible tip
  • Super-Radiopaque™ tip means better visualization and more accurate placement
  • Reforms and maintains shape—even under injection pressure—with less catheter whipping, resulting in less vessel wall injury
  • The top of the Omni Flush shape to the tip end measures approximately 15 mm
  • Less contrast reflux than other flush catheters, thus resulting in lower total contrast dose, which is recommended

SOS Omni® Selective Catheter

The SOS Omni selective catheter is the first of its kind, featuring a soft, atraumatic, Super-radiopaque tip designed to reform the thoracic aorta. This versatile visceral catheter is just the right catheter for just the right results, reforming in the descending thoracic aorta – below the great vessels rather than the transverse arch – for increased safety and reduced risk.

The catheter should be pulled from the descending aorta into the abdominal aorta with a floppy Bentson-type guidewire “leading,” sometimes with a rotating motion. Its unique shape allows it to select vessels more quickly than other selective catheters. The soft, flexible atraumatic tip can be placed deeper into the artery (1 cm or more), reducing the chance of “catheter kickout.” The shaped tip allows the guidewire to flick into the origin of the renal artery, thereby easing the way for proper seating of the catheter and for crossing renal artery stenoses. The use of this technique will enable the operator to access the renal artery using minimal, if any, contrast up.

Longer Length Catheters Now Standard

New longer length angiographic catheters are ideal for those instances where the operator needs the ability to access the more distal regions of the vascular anatomy. Most standard angiographic catheters are limited to 110 cm, however; AngioDynamics now offers a comprehensive addition of both standard Soft-Vu and Hydrophilic-coated Mariner angiographic catheters.

Benefits:
  • Longer-length catheters allow for contralateral access to regions in the trifurcation zone (below the knee)
  • Utilization of a brachial approach
  • Allows the operator to target regions of vascular anatomy to obtain a more concise image while using less contrast
