How long have you been with AngioDynamics, and what do you do?

I have been with AngioDynamics almost 3 years. My first day was February 1, 2019. I am responsible for managing distributors in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Region, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Australia, and New Zealand. I provide our distributors assistance to help run our business smoothly.

What do you find most challenging about your work? What do you like most about your work?

AngioDynamics is a relatively small company, so we must work harder than our competitors to find other methods to promote our products and win market share.

The thing I like most at AngioDynamics is the flexibility that we have and are given. We have a small team and can work together really quickly. We can deliver what our customer needs quickly.

I also really like that we sell our products based on clinical benefits and value. It really helps us to differentiate from competitors and help patients and physicians.

What has been your proudest moment at AngioDynamics?

A while back, our distributor in Australia needed something urgently. The team in Hong Kong and Australia worked late into the night with the team in United States to get it done in less than a day. It is really amazing to me that the power that we have when everyone works toward the same goal.

Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?

I believe the medical device industry is promising and has a great future. AngioDynamics is an innovative company with many new product launches and projects… it is what we do. I believe I will be working in this industry for a long time, as I love facing new challenges and always learning new things.
