The Soft-Vu Catheter line was originally launched in 1992 and redefined catheter performance through its innovative tip design:

• Soft, atraumatic, radiopaque tungsten tip that was designed to minimize trauma and damage to the patient’s vasculature and easily visualized under fluoroscopy
• To ensure catheter tip stability, AngioDynamics uses a proprietary process to weld the tip to the nylon shaft

In 2007, our Mariner Hydrophilic Catheter was launched to provide clinicians a smoother navigation of the catheter through the vasculature:

• Our proprietary Duration Hydrophilic Coating is applied to the distal 20cm of the catheter to reduce the catheter’s surface friction by as much as 90 percent¹ and allow for smooth navigation, as well as optimum handling and control

The Accu-Vu Sizing Catheter was designed to provide accurate and dependable measurements for clinicians when measurements count the most. The Accu-Vu Sizing Catheter has all the benefits of the Soft-Vu Catheter, plus:

• Platinum Marker Bands for enhanced visibility under fluoroscopy, available in different patterns and configurations
• Tight design specifications of +/- 1mm of accuracy across the entire sizing pattern
• Unique heat embedded marker band process is designed to ensure the marker bands will not separate from shaft and provide a smooth transition across the catheter shaft
