Q & A

How long have you been with AngioDynamics, and what do you do?

I’m approaching my one-year milestone with AngioDynamics as the Global Brand Associate. I am on the Communications Center of Excellence (CCOE) Team, executing our organization’s brand initiatives. I also manage AngioDynamics’ social media channels, oversee the Angio Swag Store, and ensure brand alignment on our creative assets and social content to internal and external stakeholders

What do you find most challenging about your work?

Our work within communications is constantly changing as we ensure product and technology indications are current with the evolving nature of what we do at AngioDynamics. With our hard-working R&D team always making improvements and bringing our products to market, we must stay current with the creative content we develop. This is an excellent problem as we reach more customers and save more patients’ lives!

What do you like most about your work?

My specific role touches many areas of our organization, so I enjoy the variety. I have the opportunity to tell patient success stories, write about our incredible partners in the healthcare industry, and highlight our field teams’ fantastic work.

What drew you to AngioDynamics initially?

My dad, Jeff Oestereich, is in the RFT-A division of AngioDynamics and has loved his time at Angio. He spoke highly of his colleagues and the momentum of Angio as an organization. I went on a trip with my parents, where my dad was attending a trade show, allowing me to meet his colleagues in person. Our interactions led me to ‘put a pin’ in AngioDynamics for a potential future employer. Fast forward a year, and I found myself in rounds of interviews with the AngioDynamics’ leaders and eventually landed an exciting position with the CCOE team.

What has been your proudest moment at AngioDynamics?

It isn’t easy to name just one moment in my year with AngioDynamics, as we have come a long way as a brand-new CCOE team. I am proud to look back at the progress we’ve made within the CCOE team and throughout AngioDynamics’ businesses and the projects we’ve created together, knowing we are just getting started and the best is yet to come.

Where do you see yourself in the next ten years?

I aim to grow personally and professionally, learning to lead by taking on new responsibilities at AngioDynamics. I see myself growing alongside our company’s leaders, making a difference in our patients’ lives, and sharing the story of AngioDynamics on a global scale.
